Want to know a little more about the person behind the live voice you can contact at Ver-tech Labs? Gary Patriquin is a vehicle wash expert who fields many of the calls regarding chemical selection and chemical usage. Gary’s experience includes over 35 years in the car washing industry. While our direct customers and distributors enjoy the consultative services of assigned chemical representatives, someone buying something from our online store might need a few questions answered. While you could use our contact form or our Talk to Tony form (this gets you directly to the CEO) – many people like talking to a live person on the phone.
This spring we established a direct line to Gary. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm CST, you can talk to Gary about vehicle washing! Dial our toll free number 877-866-9742 and select option 5.
Typical questions that Gary asks the caller include:
- What are you trying to clean?
- Are you washing indoors or outside?
- Is your water warm/hot or cold?
- Do you have soft water?
- Do you want to clean “touchlessly”?
- Do you need a metal safe product?
- Do you need a safe acid product?
- How do you plan on applying the cleaning products?
- If using high pressure, do you know the gallons per minute of your unit?
Based on the answers, Gary will recommend specific products and explain their usage. Gary will follow up with email if necessary and set some individuals up as direct customers based upon their location and chemical needs.
Gary’s philosophy includes treating the customer right. “If you’re looking for support and want to turn out the best cars, we are here to help. We take pride in what we do.” Gary never makes you feel like you are asking a dumb question. He’s a great teacher with excellent coaching skills (something you get after coaching soccer for over 18 years).
Gary is also an active member of the Gold Star Dads of America and works on various projects to support active duty service members and veterans. Gary’s son, Army Captain Travis Patriquin died in 2006 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. “A Soldier’s Dream” by William Doyle is a book about Captain Patriquin and the “Sunni Awakening,” a phenomenon that helped hasten the end of the war. Captain Patriquin’s work left behind a powerful legacy of service and a reminder to all that good ideas have the power to change the world.
Gary’s focus at work and in life is to do the very best you can to help anyone who may need assistance. Gary exemplifies Ver-tech Labs’ commitment to cleaner-brighter-better. Got a question? Give him a call.
