You know the moment. A car rolls out of the tunnel looking right, and then the customer pulls into the sun. There are spots on the hood and a film across the windshield that smears the second the wipers hit it. The wash did its job through the last arch, yet the finish tells a different story.
For a lot of operators, that story starts in the reclaim pit. Reclaim water is supposed to save you money, and it should. But when residual soap film and hard water minerals make their way through the wash process, they can compromise the final results.

What Actually Causes Spotting and Haze?
Hard water carries dissolved minerals, mostly calcium and magnesium. When a droplet dries on the surface, the water evaporates and the minerals stay behind as a spot. Reclaim can make it worse, since water is reused car after car.
Haze comes from leftover soap film. That thin residue dulls glass and paint, and it makes water bead up instead of sheeting off. Every bead that dries in place becomes another spot.

What VANISH Does.
VANISH (VT3800) is a final rinse technology in our VAULT system, made for washes running reclaim water or fighting difficult water conditions. It cuts through the leftover soap film that can build up in reclaim systems, lifts away hard water minerals, and preps the surface so water sheets off clean. The result is a finish without the spotting and haze, even at high reclaim percentages, with less fresh water needed to get there.

What Operators are Seeing
