A Standard Built for Water Reuse.

For years, the term “reclaim compatible” has been used in different ways throughout the carwash industry.  In many cases; it simply meant that a chemical could be used at a car wash that happened to have a reclaim system.

At Ver-tech Labs, we believed the standard should be higher. We began formulating chemistry around the realities of reclaimed water and understanding how products iteract not only during the wash process, but also after the chemistry enters the reclaim system and is introduced back into the wash.

That means looking at the entire water cycle, not just the application point.

What Does Reclaim Compatible® Actually Mean?

When Ver-tech Labs identifies a product as Reclaim Compatbile®, it means the chemistry has been formualted to work as part of a reclaim-water environment and there are several important factors behind that distinction.

Compatible Chemistry

Reclaim water contains residual chemistry, soils, minerals and other contamininants collected throughout the wash process. Chemistry designed for reclaim use must continue to perform consistently even when water conditions are changing. The goal is to create products that work with the water being reused throughout the wash, rather than creating additional challenges operators must compensate for elsewhere in the system.

Better Rinsing

What goes down the drain matters. Chemistry that is difficult to rinse or leaves excessive residue can contribute to buildup throughout the tunnel, equipment and reclaim system. Reclaim compatible® formulations are developed with rinseability in mind, helping reduce unnecessary chemistry carryover and supporting a cleaner overall wash process.

No Odors & Reduced Maintenance

Reclaim odor is rarely just a “water problem.” The chemistry entering the reclaim system can have a significant impact on what happens inside the system over time. Reducing unnecessary buildup and improving chemistry compatbility can help create a reclaim environment that is easier to manage, with less opportunity for the conditions that contribute to odor, clogging and excessive maintenance.

Reusing More Water

Ultimately, reclaim only delivers value when operators are comfortable actually using it. If reclaim water contributes to haze, spotting, or inconsistent wash quality, operators may reduce reclaim usage – ultimately increasing their fresh water usage. Our standard with Reclaim Compatible chemistry is to help remove those barriers that operators often face because the real measure of a successful reclaim system isn’t simply having a system, it’s being able to use. it.

Turning Water Savings Into Real Operational Savings

The benefits go beyond conserving water. When a wash is able to confidently increase reclaim usage, the impact can extend throughout the operation:

  • Reduced maintenance expenses related to equipment, facility and pit cleaning
  • Eliminates unwated reclaim odors
  • Reduces poor quality results – decrease in re-washes
  • Increases reclaim water throughout the tunnel resulting in fresh water savings

For high-volume operators, even small improvements in fresh-water usage per vehicle can translate into significant annual savings.

Leading the Standard Forward

Ver-tech Labs has been an industry leader in developing chemistry specifically around reclaim water and helping operators reuse more of it successfully – no additives, no bubbles, just chemistry.

The Reclaim Compatible® trademark now serves as a symbol of that leadership – but the proof is in the results:

  • Customers reducing fresh water usage
  • Maintaining higher wash quality
  • Seeing measurable savings to their bottom line

That is what Reclaim Compatbile® means at Ver-tech Labs.

Proven chemistry. Real water savings. Partnership with performance.
