Ver-tech manufactures a wide variety of large vehicle wash products and works with vehicle wash owners to ensure the right chemicals are being applied for their unique wash conditions. Ver-tech chemical experts, Allen Luce and Brian Chipman have been working with Aaron Coty of Coty’s Truck Wash, Saginaw, MI and this truck wash stays very busy.
Coty’s Truck Wash is both an automatic truck wash and a hand truck wash.
On the automatic wash side, there is a two step touchless cleaning process. EXT430 Vision is applied during Step 1 to the top, sides, rims and rub rail. During Step 2, EXT460 Golden Knight is applied to the top, sides, back and rims. TON100 Tonka HD and THU100 Thunderbolt are sprayed on the front glass. To optimize cleaning in cooler weather, EXT430 Vision is changed out to STR500 Stryker. The automatic wash takes 8 – 15 minutes.
On the handwash side, the primary products used are THU100 Thunderbolt and EXT460 Golden Knight. Similar to the automatic side, TON100 Tonka HD and STR500 Stryker are used in the cooler months. Hand washes take approximately 15 – 25 minutes depending on the requested service.
Coty’s is committed to not using HF products and CIT110 Citric Clean is used when an acid wash is requested. Citric Clean is a metal safe aluminum brightener that is environmentally friendly and reclaim compatible.
